Deborah Crichton
My experience over the last few years has been rich and diverse. During my training I made a commitment to help break the stigma around counselling. Later my focus turned to cultural inclusivity, wellbeing and mentoring.

I have had the opportunity to work with young people in a school setting, inspiring me to do an art course, which I often integrate into my counselling and wellbeing sessions.

Most recently I have been supporting clients as they re-establish themselves after a period of substance misuse, helping them to build self-esteem and accept the rebirth of themselves.

At Ceiba Therapy I offer an integrative approach.
I believe each person is unique, this means I use a range of techniques suited to you. A person-centred approach underpins all the work I do, whilst integrating other elements such as mindfulness, CBT, solution focused and Psychodynamic.

I work with clients from all walks of life, including the minority community, helping with stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, anger manager management, and coping with grief and loss.

These sessions are usually non directional, helping you to recognise and rediscover your natural tendencies that could lead to you reaching your full potential.
